Alex Cameron - Store Manager
“My passion for the outdoors started at an early age when I would watch my father leave the house to go hunting throughout the fall. I could not wait for the day that I could go along with him”, says Alex. Alex’s new found curiosity quickly turned into an obsession, taking him from a hunter, to an outdoorsman, a professional guide and now, Alex is Kinsey’s Outdoors Store Manager.

Alex started working in the archery business while in high school. He continued to work at various outdoor retailers and Archery Pro Shops over the next twelve years learning all about archery and hunting equipment and developed a strong devotion for catering to customers.

Alex’s most gratifying moments are seen through the eyes of his customer. “I want every customer to have the best experience possible. It is very gratifying to know you can have a positive impact in the success of someone else’s outdoor adventure just by meeting their needs here at the store.”
Alex’s list of accomplishments includes:

- Certified Level 1 and 2 NAA Instructor
- Illinois Licensed Whitetail Deer / Wild Turkey Professional Guide

Alex spends a lot of time keeping up with the technical aspects of the industry. We always strive to go “above and beyond” with our service at Kinsey’s. A firm handshake and a smile is truly a key element of success for Alex. We are truly blessed to have him as a leader of our team.

 

Mike Myers - Bow Technician
The Best of the Best…There’s no other way to say it, This guy knows bows! With over 35 years of competitive archery and hunting experience Mike takes pride in making sure every bow set-up is the best set-up the customer has ever had and always seals the deal with a hand shake. Mike’s greatest reward is when a customer returns with a story or pictures of a harvest made after Mike set him up with the right equipment. We don’t have enough space to show you all of Mike’s accomplishments, but here’s a sampling:

Mike loves to hunt throughout the United States for all types of game and is eager to share his wealth of information with his customers. Mike takes pride in introducing youth and new people to the sport and is a huge asset to the Kinsey’s Team. We are very privileged to have someone with Mike’s wealth of knowledge on our Staff. He knows all the new products and is recognized as one of the top bow technicians in the Country.

 

Doug Williams - Assistant Store Manager
Wow, talk about a guy with credentials, this guy is totally impressive. Besides being a very avid hunter, Doug is also a very accomplished Professional


Archer. His list of accomplishments is quite impressive.
- Competitive Archer since the age of 8
- 9 NFAA National Titles
- 1 IFAA World Title
- More than 30 State and Sectional Titles
- Holds several National Competition Records

Doug grew up in up-state New York and has taken more than 20 whitetails with his bow. An enthusiast for all seasons of the outdoors, Doug also enjoys water fowling and small game hunting.

It takes an enormous amount of passion to acquire a background like Doug’s. Doug loves to share his passion and knowledge with his customers making sure they have the correct equipment and information necessary for all levels of enjoyment.


Josh Myers - Archery Sales Associate

Josh developed a love for archery at an early age. He has been shooting a bow since he was 3 and literally grew up in the industry. Josh recalls sitting in a treestand in his dad’s pro shop and shooting at the deer heads on the wall as well as watching countless hours of hunting videos as a kid trying to mimic the pro’s calling and rattling sequences. Josh has accumulated a wealth of experience for someone so young, including:

- Hunting since age 6
- First place for his age class in 3D leagues for four years in a row
- IBO World Championships qualifier three years in a row
- Bear Archery Pro Staff shooter for the past 4 years
- Placed in the top three at the Eastern Sports show 3D tournament
- 5 years of retail experience at Kinsey’s and other area pro shops

In his free time, Josh loves shooting his bow, scouting for deer, spending time in the woods and hunting for deer and turkeys with his dad. He is involved with local sporting clubs and has assisted with the NWTF Jakes program and Women In The Outdoors, organizations to get youth and women interested in archery and hunting. He is truly passionate about hunting and archery. Josh says, “The biggest thrill about my job is to see the young people who are brought into the store to be introduced into the sport of archery. It reminds me of myself when I was younger.”

Brandon Wanner- Firearms Sales Associate

Brandon started his career here at Kinsey’s in the customer service department, but his love for guns and eagerness to learn has him spending most of his time behind the firearms counter. Since he’s been in the gun department his love for guns is ever growing, as well as his gun collection. “I really enjoy shooting and have a passion for firearms. I love to learn all I can about a gun, so that I can further inform customers to the best of my ability. It’s something I can say that I love to do,” says Brandon.


Brandon has been hunting since he was 12-years-old. Recently, he has become more interested in small game and waterfowl hunting. He really enjoys getting out in the woods, but finds his true home is at the firearms range with his revolver in hand.


Brandon also enjoys getting to know Kinsey’s customers. He says “I think it’s really cool when you can call a customer by their first name. The relationships I have made have only helped my experience and furthered my knowledge. I love learning from experienced customers and helping first timers.” His willingness to serve and to keep customers coming back makes Brandon an asset to the Kinsey’s team.

Chris Scott - Assistant Store Manager

Chris brings a ton of knowledge to the management team at Kinsey’s; from firearms to bows, and many types of hunting to fishing for many of PA’s most popular species. In his free time, Chris loves spending time with his family in the outdoors. He also enjoys introducing people to the Outdoors and says “after all, our children are our future sportsmen and women”.


Chris has been hunting for 21 years and working in the outdoor industry for over 12 years. He has lived in Europe and 7 different states (Alaska, Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, West Virginia, Indiana and Pennsylvania) and has killed whitetails in 6 of them. His favorite species to hunt include turkey, wild hogs, javelin, small game and particularly whitetails. His personal best whitetail is a Pennsylvania giant, measuring 159 7/8” gross P&Y!

Nate McFadden - Firearms Sales Associate

Nate started with Kinsey’s in 2009 and quickly developed into a well known fixture at the firearms counter. Kinsey’s customers have come to know for Nate for his firearms savvy, friendliness and eagerness to help. He spends a great deal of time at the shooting range and is always expanding his knowledge of firearms, ammunition, reloading techniques and all things gun related.


Nate has been actively involved in the outdoors his entire life. He learned to shoot with his grandfather when he was young and started hunting when he was 20. Besides his involvement in the hunting and shooting sports Nate also spends a lot of time camping and backpacking and was an Eagle Scout.


Nate has a great depth of knowledge on a wide variety of firearms and can provide guidance when you are selecting your next firearm whether it is for shooting clay birds, hunting big game or home and self defense. He is very involved in managing our Gunbroker auctions so give him a call if you have any questions.

 

Murray Ott - Firearms Sales Associate

Moe is a very familiar face to many sportsmen and firearms enthusiasts in Central PA. He has over 18 years of retail experience, much of which was spent behind the firearms counters of local sporting goods stores. Moe is actively involved with Hummelstown Field and Steam and enjoys shooting sporting clays in his free time. He grew up fishing the Yellow Breeches creek and hunting with his dad and has been hunting and fishing all his life.


Moe is a firearms expert and can answer just about any gun question you can think up. He is especially knowledgeable when it comes to shotguns and if you need information about what gun to use for trap shooting, sporting clays or any other type of shooting he will be more than able to lead you in the right direction.


Alex Smay - Customer Service Manager

Alex’s love for hunting and the outdoors began at a very early age. He says “I got my first Hoyt when I was 8 and I have been hooked ever since.” He has been hunting since he was 12 and made his first archery deer harvest when he was 13. He loves hunting the Big Woods of Potter County and travels to Missouri in hopes of a Booner. Alex says his favorite hunting experience so far has been when his wife harvested her first buck during the 2010 firearms season opener.


When the season is closed Alex loves scouting, hanging and checking trail cameras, working on food plots, and learning about deer behavior from authors like Charles Alsheimer. He enjoys hand loading rifle cartridges for his deer and varmint rifles and visiting groundhog infested farms for long range shooting in the summer. He is also an avid fisherman and has traveled to Canada for its great bass fishing but prefers to fly fish small mountain streams for native brook trout.


Alex has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Grove City College and has been in the customer service field for over 10 years. He says his utmost concern is that we always offer the best service, experience, and products to our customers. He can provide advice on a wide range of topics and loves helping customers get equipped with the latest hunting gear or setting up new archers with their first bow. However, he can typically be found at his desk behind the customer service counter. Check for him there if you have any questions or comments, he loves getting feedback from our customers!

Chelsea Antolick

Chelsea is a familiar face at Kinsey’s Outdoors as she’s been working at the customer service counter for almost 5 years. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys fishing, boating, bird and small game hunting, camping, hiking and taking her Bear Truth UltraLight to local 3D archery shoots. Chelsea loves to travel and has visited many destinations along the East Coast. She hopes to one day be able to visit the highest points in each of the 50 states. Her dream hunt is to be able to “bag a huge moose”.


Chelsea is a great reference if you need any information about hunting licenses, upcoming events or sales at the store. Look for her big smile at the front counter next time you’re in!


Kamda Swigart

Kamda has been with Kinsey’s for several years, first in our fletching department and then in the inventory control department at Kinsey Archery Products and recently transitioned into a new role as Kinsey’s Outdoors Inventory Control. Kamda grew up going hunting with her dad on their farm in Mifflin county and loves to fish in Maryland at her family’s house on the shore.


Kamda has an associate’s degree in business management from Harrisburg Area Community College and brings a great deal of organization to the Kinsey’s team. Our customers may not see her on the floor often, but she is ever present, helping to make sure our products are marked accurately and our customers can find exactly what they are looking for on our shelves.
